I've had so many people ask "WHAT IS FOLLOWING?" - here's the scoop:
Basically, it is a way to organize your relationship with your favorite blog(s). You are notified when new posts are published and can set up your account so little snippets of new posts are filed in a "reader" area until you get time to read them. This makes it easy to keep up with what has been posted and ensures you don't miss something of interest to you. You can easily scroll through and elect to read what you want whenever you want.
It also makes it easier to leave comments when you visit a blog and gives you the option to communicate with other people who are part of that blog's community.*
