For me, an image of smoked salmon (smoked salmon) sent me traveling to times and places and people I haven’t visited in ages…sleigh riding in the snow-covered mountains of my childhood and big groups of us piling into our vehicles to go to the local lifts...some idyllic romantic escapes surfaced too, nights in a hot tub with views of the stars in the crisp night sky and the twinkling lights of the village below us…good times.
Not in the cards for me this year though — smoked salmon and a trip down memory lane will have to do.
