"I don't make proper flower arrangements; mine just grow, like the garden."
—Tasha Tudor
My Grandma H. introduced me to the magical world of Tasha Tudor. She always admired her and it's easy to see why. These gorgeous images by Robert Brown are from the book Tasha Tudor's Garden I've had in my library for a number of years and each time I open its pages I'm enchanted and inspired by her simply beautiful life.

I've always loved her books as well as her gardens. We were fortunate enough to visit her gardens a few times before she passed. They are so beautiful and peaceful.
Enjoy your weekend LeAnn!

Dearest LeAnn,

Thank you so much for the beautiful post on Tasha, LeAnn! My name is Natalie and I blog for the Tasha Tudor family blog, Rookery Ramblings. I am so glad your Grandma H. brought Tasha into your life. We feel very blessed to continue sharing Tasha's legacy. Thank you again.
Leann those images are just magical. I have not visited her gardens. Thank you so much for sharing. Positively beautiful!!
Hi, Debra. Lucky you getting to see her gardens in person. Even from the images you can feel the love she imparted to everything she grew.
Stay well. xo~L
Hi, Natalie. Thank you! I'm so happy you found your way to l&l. I will put a link to your blog in the post. It's so nice to know you are keeping her memory and traditions alive. What a wonderful world you get to work in every day. Sending you all my best. Warmly~LeAnn
Hi, Cindy. I haven't visited them either but I would very much like to one day. Natalie (see comment above) just introduced herself and so you will see links to information I've added to the post linking to her blog (for a behind the scenes look at all that goings on at Tasha Tudor's property these days and info on obtaining tickets.) Looks like 2012 sold out quickly...but maybe they will be adding more tour dates. Take care and thanks for stopping by. xo~L
Hi, Mariette. Yes, I agree. Very simple life focused on the wonders of nature is as close to Heaven on Earth as we get, I dare say! Thank you for stopping by. xo~L
