Beautifully designed room with interesting artifacts. The showstopper: a weird and wonderful chandelier by Debra Thomas composed of broken glass.

I've never seen anything quite like that chandelier.. Is there something wrapped in it or what is it made out of?
Your blog is exquisite; it was recommended by an incredible blogger with equally stunning photos! Beautiful atmosphere your create! Anita
Anita,
Thank you so much! -(and to the fellow blogger who sent you here!) I'm happy to learn of your blog and will head there right away. Please stop by l&l again soon!
All the best to you ~LeAnn
Hi,Margaret. Thanks for your question.
The chandelier is by Deborah Thomas and is made of fragmented glass and other recycled materials. For more information on the artist and to view another chandelier by her, see the February 24 post.
I think you'll agree that both pieces would work in a modern interior, but I especially love the idea of them juxtaposed against warm, worn architectural elements such as shown in the rooom above.
The chandelier you will see in the next post is much more stark and modern Wouldn't it look amazing over a dark-stained, old elmwood table or similar? Let me know what you think! ~lb
